No car? No problem! From taking the bus or using a taxi or rideshare service to walking, biking, or even carpooling with friends, fellow churchgoers, or Family of Light members, there are plenty of options to make your way to the Cathedral!
BUS
If you're looking to reach Beacon Light by bus, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is a great option. The RTA has several conveniently located stops along the route to the church. The Elysian Fields Ave. at Mirabeau Ave. and Paris Ave. at Mirabeau Ave. stops are both just a short walk from the Cathedral. If you require accessible transportation, the RTA's Paratransit Service is available. To ensure a smooth journey, be sure to check the bus schedule and plan your trip accordingly.
TAXI OR RIDESHARE
To reach Beacon Light using taxi or rideshare services, be sure to confirm the address of the location with the driver. We are located at 1937 Mirabeau Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. If you are using a rideshare service, make sure to select the correct pick-up location and confirm the driver's identity and the car's make and model before entering the vehicle. It's always a good idea to share your trip details with a friend or family member for added safety.
